The Trailhead...

Hi, I’m Meghan- a born-and-raised Florida girl who once thought “outdoorsy” meant watching the waves on a sandy beach with an umbrella drink in my hand. That all changed after one life-altering trip to Montana (more specifically, Glacier National Park). One week of mountain magic and goat sightings later, I was obsessed. Like, researching hiking boots and Zillow listings obsessed.
Fast forward: my husband and I ditched palm trees for pine trees, packed up our Florida life, and moved to Big Sky country. Oh, and fun fact- we got married during Hurricane Irma in 2017, which honestly set the tone for all future adventures: wild, unpredictable, and totally unforgettable.
Now I'm hiking trails I can't pronounce, learning what “microspikes” are, and trading in humidity for altitude-induced humility. This blog is where I document it all- the good, the grizzly (check out the Cracker Lake blog), and the “how did I end up knee-deep in snow in October?”
Welcome to the wild ride. Let’s get (responsibly) lost.
