We've done this one before during the summer, but had a completely different experience in the Spring. It's amazing how you can do a trail multiple times over multiple seasons and it feels completely new. The seasons change the landscape AND the crowds. Spring is a quieter time in Glacier National Park which made parking a breeze and enjoying the waterfall more peaceful. We noticed an increase in hikers carrying.... let's call it, "bear protection." Typically in the park there are lots of tourists that don't carry bear spray or firearms, but this time everyone was packing something. It could be in light of recent bear attacks- two in the last month. Stay bear aware! Check out more info about this trail on our other post or watch the video below of our Spring hike.
