After traveling to Belize and having some fun, lazy time in the sun, we decided that it was time for more of an adventure. We invited our Mother and Father-in-law as well as our good friends Grace and Austin to travel with us to the beautiful "Cotton Candy Skies." (Song that Austin wrote while on the trip).

Day 1:

We left before the sun and traveled to Yellowstone, hoping to arrive at Sunrise.

We got to Yellowstone (about 1 hour and 45 min from Bozeman) right as the sun came up! First stop was Lamar Valley to hopefully some some beautiful wildlife. We saw elk, bison, wolves, and so much more.

After Lamar Valley we headed to the South Rim Grand Canyon, stopping along the way before our six mile hike.

After a long day in Yellowstone, we headed back to Bozeman and had the BEST steak at Open Range. Highly recommend!!

Day 2:

GONE FISHIN'! Caleb and I went on our own adventure, fly fishing! I froze my butt off and almost fell several times, but it was all worth it when Caleb caught a fish! We went fishing in the Gallatin River and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Though fishing is not my thing, sitting on a rock and listening to the sound of the river was surreal. Check out Gallatin River Guides!

After fly fishing, we found one of our favorite breweries, back in Bozeman. Mountains Walking Brewery

Day 3:

Do you like playing in the dirt?! Well then today's activity would have been for you! I had no idea what I was getting myself into. ATVs in the Gallatin National Forest. Did you know the Gallatin National Forest is actually larger than Yellowstone?! Crazy! We saw beautiful landscapes and so much wildlife.

Day 4:

CHILL DAY! There are so many cool small towns bordering Bozeman that we took some time to explore. Then we discovered our second favorite brewery, Nordic Brew Works.

Day 5:

Before heading out, we thought we should take an "easy" hike. We hiked the M trail in Bozeman and might have gotten a little lost... thinking we were taking a short cut we actually took a very steep and rocky way down.

If you're looking to head out west, Bozeman is such a vibe. Hiking, brews, and gorgeous scenery. One of our favorite trips to date!
